OVERVIEW

The International Coaching Federation (ICF) requires coaches to complete 10 hours of mentor coaching before applying for the Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential. The ADVANCE Coach Mentoring Program is designed for coaches who have completed Modules 1 and 2 and are preparing to apply for the ACC. It is also open to coaches who are renewing their ACC or PCC credentials, or those upgrading from ACC to PCC.

ICF standards specify that mentor coaching hours must be completed over a minimum of three months. This program includes a final performance evaluation, where you will submit a recorded coaching session to be assessed against ICF standards.​

OUTCOMES AND LEARNING GOALS

  • Fulfill the ICF requirement of 10 hours of mentor coaching over three months

  • Prepare for the ICF credentialing process with a final performance evaluation

  • Practice coaching through peer sessions or recorded calls with individualized feedback

  • Apply the ICF core competencies at a higher level, aligned with PCC Markers

  • Strengthen your coaching skills with focused feedback from a Mentor Coach

​INTENDED PARTICIPANTS

The ADVANCE Coach Mentoring Program is designed for coaches who have completed Module 1 and Module 2 and are preparing to apply for the ICF- Credential. The program is also open to coaches who would like to renew their ACC\PCC credentials or upgrade from ACC to PCC.

DURATION

Mentor Coaching should take place over an extended time (three months minimum) in a cycle that allows for listening and feedback from the Mentor Coach while also allowing reflection and practice on the part of the individual being mentored.

METHODOLOGY

Mentoring will cover the updated ICF core competencies. Participants will have the opportunity to practice peer coaching in groups or provide recorded coaching calls for feedback. The mentoring is based on the ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) Markers. Mentoring meetings are held over Zoom. ACC applicants will prepare for the final performance evaluation which will be administered at the end of the program.

 

PROGRAM STRUCTURE

The ADVANCE Mentoring Program consists of 10 mentor hours. Depending on the number of participants group mentoring and individual one-on-one mentoring are available. Maximum 7 hours may be group mentoring.

 

SCHEDULE

The schedule is customized based on the coach's preference and the mentor's availability.

TUITION: The cost of the mentoring program is $1,800 for 10 mentor hours. Check the registration page for package deals and current promotions.
